Autumn wardrobe part II

OK, I am serious now, no jokes...
it's Autumn!
last few days were very windy, which means it's so much easier to get sick. If it happens that you know me in person, you definitely know that I love scarfs. It's not just a fashion reason, I just need to protect my neck more than most people. I have pretty big collection of scarfs, shall etc. My favourite are very simple, monochromatic and big. It just looks great when a scarf adds extra volume to the outfit. Do you wear scarfs or are you one of those people with uncovered decollete in the middle of Winter?

Autumn wardrobe part I

Now it's getting colder we need something to keep us warm. Something warm and stylish of course. Midi skirts are perfect, they cover our legs enough not to catch a cold but they reveal the best looking part of the leg and the most important part of our outfit-shoes! Perfect for an Autumn walk or coffee in a bistro.
Which one of these is your favourite? Do you have any in your wardrobe? I think it's a perfect time to unpack mine :)

DIY wreath

Last week I decided to make my own wreath. I like the ones I see in shops, but in my opinion they are lacking a personal touch. I found some nice ideas online (you can find them here: http://belikedot.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/wreath.html)

I decided to go with typical Winter-Christmas colours- white and red. It is very simple and classy, I might add a big red ribbon on top, closer to Christmas time.
I haven't decided yet, where to hang it but I'm sure I'll find a perfect place for it.
Making a wreath is fun, but be careful with a hot glue gun...

Sometimes people think wreaths are suitable only for Christmas, but I cannot imagine any occasion when they wouldn't suit. It all depends on our imagination. There are so many materials, colours and themes we can use. The one I've made could easily be used as a decoration for a wedding party, christening or birthday party.

This is what you'll need:
wreath form
coffee filters (about 150-200)
hot glue gun
glue sticks (about 20)

And this is the end effect, still without a bow.

What do you think?
