product of the year

I tried many new products this year. Some of them were total disaster and some became my favourites. Matriskin is definitely worth to try.

The Collagen MP Serum is a new collagen-based formula with micro-collagen and patented peptides that help counteract the appearance of pre-mature aging. A special skin penetration element is added (palmitoic acid) in order to help the collagen molecules and the peptide to be absorbed, promoting the skin’s normal cellular regeneration and structure.
Primary Benefits of Matriskin™ Collagen MP Serum:
·         Exclusively distributed by Market America in the US
·         Visibly reduces the look of lines and wrinkles
·         Contains hyaluronic acid and humectants to pull moisture deep into skin cells
·         Advanced patented peptide technology proven to increase skin firmness
·         Promotes collagen production leading to skin revitalization
·         Improves the appearance of skin’s texture and luminosity
·         Works well for all skin types, including delicate skin
Key Ingredients Found in Matriskin™ MP Collagen Serum:
Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3
Supports healthy collagen production in the skin’s lower layers. Loss of collagen is what leads to thinning skin and wrinkling. Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 helps to maintain collagen as we age.
Hyaluronic Acid
Normally found in skin and connective tissue, hyaluronic acid is made up of many sugar units. It has a high capacity for binding and holding water, making it an excellent choice for keeping your skin hydrated and supple.
Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen
Provides the building blocks for normal regeneration and repair of collagen, improving skin’s appearance by diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Sodium Hyaluronate
Sodium hyaluronate works to moisturize the skin and hair, and is said to be able to hold more than 1,000 times its own weight in water. By helping to keep your skin and hair hydrated, it helps your skin to feel smooth and supple, and increases your hair’s shine and manageability.
Glycerin
Glycerin is a naturally-occurring ingredient that helps balance the water levels in skin to facilitate moisture. In other words, glycerin attracts water to skin, and helps skin to feel smoother and softer. According to a study found in The Journal of Investigative Dermatology, glycerin makes skin look better by promoting healthy skin cells. It supports skin cells through their normal stages of maturity. This product helps maintain adequate moisture so the skin is soft and smooth as it should be.
Butylene Glycol
Butylene Glycol aids the skin in retaining moisture. Maintaining moisture is important in keeping skin smooth and soft.

it's almost Christmas

Christmas is my favourite time of year. This year is very special because I am spending Christmas with my family! yay!
I love to help my mum who is an absolutely genius in the kitchen. I cannot wait for traditional Polish 12 dishes on Christmas Eve. Before we all sit to the table we decorate the house with some nice Christmas ornaments. I also got the Christmas spirit and chose many holidays clothes :) they're fun and mostly very comfy! just like these ons:
while I am resting
Phil is writing Christmas cards for our family, friends and neighbours
I don't forget about my nails. my favourite winter colours are red, plum and for Christmas Eve sparkle of course.

Christmas all around

I hope you have an amazing time with people you love. I am enjoying every minute with my family. It's so good to come back home, even just for a moment.
P.S. have I mentioned I bought enormous amount of fantastic Polish beauty products? Reviews soon!

Perfumes

If you like to spend winter evenings sitting under a blanket with a cup of hot choco and an interesting book like me, you will like this post. I would like to introduce you to a guide book about perfumes. We all know that creating a perfume is an art. But describing smells can be boring (using unknown specific vocabulary) or idiotic (things I read lately on some perfumes boxes...).

Luca Turin and Tania Sanchez, longtime perfume critics, brought the way to talk about perfumes to a new level. Their knowledge is huge and the way they share it is witty, passionate very often funny and sometimes cruel. I learned a great deal reading this book.
This is a great introduction to almost 1500 frangrances.

You can find it here:

What's your idea for an evening read?

P.S. Wouldn't that be a great Christmas gift?

Optional you can add some fruit. Blend everything together and enjoy your healthy shake. It takes literary one minute. Bon appetite!

Hats the way (aha aha) I like it

With the Winter drawing in it's time to open up the bottom drawers and reach for the hats.
I always enjoy this time of year, because I can create lots of new looks with this wonderful accessory.
With this one simple item you can easily transform from an elegant and chic outfit with a wide brimmed hat to a funky street style wild spirit in a colourful beanie. The choice is yours so go and play!
