When I woke up this morning white landscape welcomed me outside. It's only 3 cm but for me it means day off! It makes me laugh, because I remember walking to work when it was so snowing that I couldn't see a thing and the snow was knee high... but, no complains. I don't have much time lately, so I will try to organize my day very efficiently. I am still in the middle of packing and there is plenty of boxes everywhere. I will add some more today.
Finally I will have a moment to think what to pack for our trip to Poland. Cannot wait! Easter with my family, my Mum's birthday and my Sis' wedding-sounds like a party time :) what should I pack?
And at the end I will prepare some nice food for me and Phil to celebrate the beginning of the weekend.
What are your plans for the weekend?
Once upon a time, there were four people. Their names were Everybody, Somebody, Nobody and Anybody. Whenever there was an important job to be done, Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. When Nobody did it, Everybody got angry because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought that Somebody would do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. So in the end Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done in the first place.
There is almost no better feeling than having a relaxing bath after a long day at work. Like most of us I like to pamper myself from time to time, especially that nowadays you can get so easily all the home-spa products. I often change my products as my body likes changes but there are few products I am faithful to: Shea butter is one of them. I first got it as a gift from Phil and I've used it non stop since. Handmade, 100% organic - pure shea butter leaves my skin silky smooth and moisturized.
Next on the list is pure tea tree oil. My skin is dry and very sensitive I normally used hypo allergic products. As I only use products with no aroma on my face I was very skeptical about tea tree oil because it has very strong smell. But Phil recommended it so I decided to give it a go-I trust this man :) Now I use it everyday. After I clean my face I just wash it with water + a single drop of oil and I don't even have to use any moisturizer. It has antibacterial and antiseptic qualities. It's natural, cheap and effective. What else could I ask for?
The last on this short list is Botanics Organic Nourishing Body Oil. I use it as a massage oil. It has great smell and is perfect if you add it to a bath or just treat your other half with a back massage. It's very affordable and multi-functional.
If you would like to choose oil which is less "oily" and use it as a body oil rather than massage one I would recommend greenland papaya body and massage oil- I love the smell!
I'm wondering what products would you recommend to me?
I love food! I just finished preparing chicken salad for us for work, and like always I put in anything and everything I can find in the fridge. In salads- dressing is the main flavour. My typical dressing is a mix of honey, mustard, lemon juice, olive oil and herbs, today I added a bit of red pesto-why not!
Trying a new cuisine is like going for a blind date, almost...
I am more than lucky that Phill is a great cook and trying new recipes and mixing them with his own ideas is his passion. This week we will try this:
I went with Phill to a theatre to see Misanthrope. The play was hilarious, fantastic time.
Since I remember I love theatre. I was dreaming as a little girl of working in a theatre. I am not sure why in such a young age I was so fascinated with this magic place. Maybe it was the smell of dust, heavy fabrics, everything was covered with mystery. Anyhow, I haven't become an actress I don't even work near any theatre but still my dream keeps alive.
After play we had a delicious Chinese meal and we called it a day, tired after the adventurous week.
and Today? Today we have a Mother's day!!!
We visited my Mother in law today, we had a lovely dinner together.
Unfortunately I haven't seen my Mum today, but I send her a HUGE KISS!
She is the most amazing woman and I miss her incredibly, but in few weeks...
Today is another grey and cold day. This week was extremely difficult and challenging for me. Although the adventures are not over yet I feel strong and positive. Sometimes it's just better to let go and wait and see what will come next. I decided to show you some fantastic outfits especially on a day like today. Mira Duma knows how to bring some sunshine even on a rainy day :) Miroslava Duma was an editor for Russian Harper's Bazaar and now is a freelance writer for numerous publications. She has become known as a fashion icon internationally, and has been photographed by one of my favorite Scott Schuman. Tell me what do you think, would you find courage in you to wear them?
OK, I said that Wednesday is the worst day but after today I have to change my opinion...
It was one of the toughest days in my life. If it weren't for people who are very close to my heart I don't know how could I move on, but thank God, I have amazing family who always supports me! I am very lucky and very grateful!
I hope your week is nice and enjoyable.
If you have a weak moment, talk with your closest, this is what they are for.
If you feel bit down today listen to Unbelievable a good positive piece of music.
